Are You Ready for GG23?

We are so happy to be able to offer the Galactic Gathering to you once again. Astronauts and special guests will include:

Astronauts: Joe Allen, Tony England, Kevin Ford, Jerry Ross, Charlie Walker

Special Guests: Lowell Grissom, Mark Grissom, Joel Johnstone

The Gathering will kick off on Friday night with a dinner for all ticket holders. Unfortunately, this specific event is now sold out.

​

Saturday will begin with FREE an autograph signing with our 5 Indiana Astronauts and tours of the Gus Grissom Boyhood Home.

The signing will be held from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church, Mitchell. The cost of each autograph is set by the astronauts and will be paid directly to the astronaut whose signature(s) you acquire. There is no entrance fee set by us for this event; however, autograph cost are Jerry Ross $60; Charlie Walker $40; Joe Allen, Tony England, and Kevin Ford $20 each. Because each astronaut will be collecting their own fees, cash will be required. Not all of the astronauts have access to card capabilities.

 

Then stop by and and see the home that Gus Grissom grew up in, as it was when he was a child.  Tours will be given in open house format from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Grissom's Boyhood Home. The home is located at 715 Grissom Avenue; Mitchell, IN. 

 

Photo Ops will be available beginning at 1 pm at the Mitchell First Baptist Church (722 W Frank Street) and will close at 3 pm. Come and get a photo with our special guests. One ticket will allow one picture (up to 5 people in the shot).

On Saturday evening, enjoy a night with the astronauts at our beautiful, historic Mitchell Opera House (located at 217 N. 7th St in Mitchell) as they individually tell their stories of what it is like to travel, live, and work in space, as well as a screened question/answer session.
